The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is conducting a search for a Deputy Associate Administrator for the Bureau of Health Professions. The Bureau provides national leadership to support health professions workforce training programs to increase availability of health professionals across the Nation in response to changing health care delivery systems. It administers and manages programs through grants to health professions schools and training programs, which use the funds to develop, expand and enhance their efforts to train the health workforce throughout the Nation. The Dr. Lillian R. Goodman Department of Nursing at Worcester State University is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track nursing faculty position in Maternal Child Health Nursing beginning September 1,2013.
Requirements: An earned doctorate in nursing or a related field is preferred for tenure-track candidates. All candidates must have a master’s degree in a related nursing specialty area and must be eligible for RN licensure in Massachusetts. Teaching experience in higher education is preferred; experience with web-enhanced and online teaching is desirable. An active program of research/scholarship is strongly desired. Our current teaching needs are in the undergraduate and Master of Science in Nursing programs.
