Status school dropout rates for ages 16-24, by race/ethnicity,
1991-2001* (line graph): 2001: Hispanic, 27.0%; Non-Hispanic
Black, 10.9%; Non-Hispanic White, 7.3%. Trends have been steady
among Non-Hispanic Whites and Blacks, while the rate among Hispanics
has dropped. *Because of changes in data collection procedures beginning
in 1992, data may not be comparable with figures for earlier years.
