In 2000, 5.6% of white and black children under 4 years of age had no physician visits in the past year, as compared to 9.5% of Hispanic children. 10.7% of white children ages 5-9 years of age had no physician visits in the past year, as compared to 13.3% of black children and 20.8% of Hispanic children in this age group. 13.8% of white children 10-14 years of age had no physician visits in the past year, as compared to 20.4% of Black children and 26% of Hispanic children in this age group. 13.7% of white children 15-19 years of age had no physician visits in the past year, as compared to 17.7% of Black children and 28.2% of Hispanic children in this age group.
