41.5% of related black children were living below the poverty level in 1970, compared to 30.4% in 2000. 10.5% of related white children were living below poverty level in 1970, as opposed to 12.3% in 2000. 37.7% of related Hispanic children were living below poverty level in 1990, as opposed to 27.3% in 2000.
